Have you ever had a job that was stable and looked great on paper, but left you feeling empty inside?
You aren't alone. Many of us know that quiet feeling of "feeding our bank account instead of our heart."
Adéla Fialová knows that feeling well. After eight years in the corporate world, she made the bold choice to walk away and turn her passion for photography into her full-time life. We are thrilled to host Adéla for a special evening to talk about what happens when you decide to stop following the "safe" path and start following yourself.
Finding the Courage to Change
We sat down with Adéla to talk about the real-life side of making a big change. Here are a few things that stood out:
The Moment You Realize It’s Time: When asked about her biggest turning point, Adéla didn’t talk about a business goal. She simply said, "It was the moment I realized my career was feeding my wallet and not my soul." It was the wake-up call that started her journey.
Letting Go of "Perfect": Everyone asks her, "How do you manage everything—work, life, and kids?" Her answer is simple and honest: "I don't. I'm still learning as I go, and it's okay to admit that." It’s a wonderful reminder that none of us have it all figured out, and that's completely fine.
Trusting Your Own Path: Moving from the city to a quiet village felt like a risk to others, but for Adéla, it was the best thing she could have done. Her best advice for those looking for a change? "Stop rushing. Things happen at the right time."
